You can add extra input sockets to your icOn 5 Dual or Balanced preamplifier. The expander unit has single-ended RCA and balanced XLR sockets and includes one pair of XLR outputs, which should be connected to the XLR input of the icOn. The remote control of the expander works as part of the icOn input selection. The icOn 5 Dual will have 6 pairs of inputs (mixed RCA and XLR), while the balanced icOn 5 will have 7 or 8 inputs altogether.
