Our aim is to use innovative and modern technology, like microprocessor, FET switches or reed relays and remote control to enhance the quality of music listening at an affordable price.
We produce smart and sophisticated passive preamplifiers, designed and built in the UK. We are not just about making another fancy box for audiophiles – we like less audio jewellery, but more sonics and smart features.

“In the 80s and 90s I worked with COCOM-listed DSP and designed high-tech industrial and military electronics like the first digital FFT analyzer in Eastern Europe. For me it was very strange to see the lack of innovation in quite expensive audio gear. I thought that after 25 years in the IT industry than selling online health/wellness products as a natural therapist, I ought to re-embrace my engineering self and make something smarter with these fancy transformers. I didn’t think that in terms of work hours and time, this would become my life’s biggest investment. But it’s a very interesting and exciting experience to be working on fulfilling a personal childhood vision.”

“icOn TVC is manufactured in Manchester by the Hungarian born Pal Nagy who likes to describe himself as a 28 years old humble electrical engineer with 58 years’ experience in his backpack. He started his engineering life in Hungary in the 80s, developing high-tech professional measuring equipment such as FFT analysers and DSP based military gear.
